Park City Dealer Camp a success
A "business" meeting
I just returned from the inaugural Dealer Camp, an industry gathering held over two days at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, UT meant to give dealers an opportunity to sample 2011 product. I was impressed by the turnout and overall quality of the event. Deer Valley proved to be the ideal mountain location as it combined easy mountain accessibility with lodging and proximity to town and,more importantly, concentrated industry leaders from Marin, FOX, WTB and others in one central location at the base of the resort so that dealers-from as far away as Connecticut-could peruse many of the new 2011 offerings. I know I enjoyed having the opportunity to go on “business rides” to catch up, talk about a couple of our new bikes for 2011(if they wanted to) and shred some well made, high alpine single track. One of my “business” calls necessitated that I ride our new Mount Vision 140mm bike which, consequently, put a huge grin on my face, especially when I came to the realization that his was part of my new job….I think I can get used to this!
