Developed in conjunction with freeride legend Matt Jones and taking its name from the most rough and tumble piece of Marin County, the all-new San Quentin collection lives up to the notoriety of the namesake maximum security California State Prison. Blending the strength and style of our Alcatraz dirt jump frame with the natural trail savvy of the Nail Trail hardtail, the San Quentin family of aggressive trail hardtails is the perfect mash-up for the modern trail rider.

Taking cues from the Alcatraz, the San Quentin line up provides all the bene ts of the DJ style with massive stand over, slick frame tubes, and a sexy paint job.
MODERN TRAIL GEOMETRY
The slack head tube angle paired with a steep seat tube angle create a ride that will y uphill with perfect front wheel precision but then descend like it’s on rails. The balanced rider position thanks to the steep seat tube puts your weight between the wheels for impressive climbing and handling on ats, while the slack front end and short rear center help to pull you through the rough descents and corners with an intuitive feel.
All San Quentin models feature ISCG 05 tabs for chain retention when the terrain gets super nasty.
"With a 65° head tube angle and up to 130mm of front suspension travel, the San Quentin appears to be a seriously bomber trail bike."
"...the San Quentin is a durable hardtail that's spec'd to take a beating and leave the doors open for riders."
“One of the nicest hardtail frames I’ve seen in a while”
One of the ""THE 10 BEST HARDTAIL MOUNTAIN BIKES PRICED UNDER $2,000"
The San Quentin was tailor-made for your own private 50to01 cover band woods-jib and loam-farming parties. Ride it hard, wreck a lot, get muddy and have fun.
The Hawk Hill 3 enables you to ride almost any trail without frustration, and considering the price, you’ll struggle to find more fun per dollar.
