• What would be your desert island luxury item? This one brings so many possibilities to my mind ahah! Is this meaning stranded alone on a desert island or a vacation on a desert island? So many possibilities.
• What size Marin bike frame do you ride? Size large usually. Riding the New long version of the Alcatraz too. I have a medium Hawk Hill for my Slopeduro build!
• What’s the best piece of riding advice you’ve ever been given? Keep it fun! Progress and good times follow easily when you keep it fun.
• How did you get sponsored/get into the Marin family? I landed a sponsorship with Bike Bros, an awesome local shop in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. Marin is one of the main brands that Bike Bros sells in the shop. When I was looking for a new brand with awesome bikes to ride, Bike Bros helped me connect the dots. This will be my fifth season with Marin. I love the bikes, the team, and what the brand stands for.
• Favourite place to ride? I have so many favourite spots that I can think of. If I had to choose one area I think it would be Tasmania Australia. I travelled down under for a couple winters to escape the cold. The wide variety of spots to ride, and awesome people make Tasmania extra special.
• Favourite event you've been part of? Crankworx events are always the best. Riding with the best riders, on the best tracks always leads to fun times and progression sessions. Competing in multiple events is awesome because you ride all your bikes everyday.
• What inspires you to ride? I most enjoy chasing the adrenaline rush / good times that come with riding. Whether it be pushing myself to be better and reach new accomplishments, or watching friends / other riders progress and accomplish new things. Biking always leads to awesome adventures and new experiences.
• What's your go to food & beverage after you ride? I enjoy having a beer after a good ride. My food choice always changes, but I love a good stir fry with lots of vegetables!
