- Riding with Marin since:
- Where are you from?
I was born in South Africa, moved to England when I was 3, and then moved to the US when I was 8.
- Which Marin Bikes are in your quiver?
Wolf Ridge, Attack Trail, Cortina, and Alcatraz.
- Personal touches on your bikes?
Not really apart from personal suspension tunes. I do like running my shock a little softer than most, and run a 170mm fork for most races. I like the feeling of being off the back of the bike, so a softer shock and higher front end allows me to really get in on the steep sections and roost those loamy corners.
- Any pre-ride rituals?
Drink water and eat some food while watching a vitalRAW edit. Then I grab my bike and go shred.
- What's your favorite place to ride?
Wherever all the boys are at. When I'm with my NorCal riding friends, sick riding sessions always go down. But more specifically, at home, all around Marin County especially when it's wet and rainy. Or up in Tahoe, hitting loose blown out corners. Finale Ligure is sick too.
- What are three things we don't know about you?
I surf a lot, am from South Africa, and currently go to school in the fall semesters, majoring in mechanical engineering.
